Hugo Sartore
Uruguayan painter born in 1.934 He began his painting studies at the
Age of twelve years in atelier of the Municipal Museum and years later
He worked in the study of Towers García. In 1.956 he travels to
Europe and during his staid in Paris was united to a group of artists who worked with Poliakoff. Between 1,959 and 1,975 he worked
Between Montevideo and Buenos Aires, and began to develop subjects of Urban character. He used geometry as it bases of its work, as well as the harmonization of colors in a work that it evokes to the cubism and the conceptualism. In 1.975 he was transferred to Venezuela and he was dedicated to the study of the indigenous cultures. His work has been exhibited throughout all America. He lives and his works in Newark, New Jersey, USA.
