Salas Venezuelan Sculptor. Study from 1974 to 1977 in the School of Plastic Arts Cristóbal Rojas. From 1977 to 1982 the Buho participated in diverse exhibitions organized by the group that chews chimó. Of its participation in collective exhibitions they emphasize: V National Hall Young Artists (1977), first Biennial of Young artists of the MACCSI (Caracas, 1981), I Biennial of Sculpture Francisco Narváez (New Esparta, 1982), I National Hall Sculpture of the Museum of Contemporary Art Francisco Narváez (1983). Between its individual exhibitions they are: Inner landscapes, tribute to Fonseca in the Gallery Outlines, Caracas (1998); Memories, Gallery Diaz Manzini, Caracas (1992); Landscapes and other memories in the MACCSI (Caracas 1992) and Memories and vestiges, Gallery Freites Caracas (1987). At international level, it has participated in the second Biennial of Havana (1986), in I SAW Biennial of Sculpture of Skironio, Greece (1987), Venezuelanart ' 89. Gallery Venzor, Triennial Chicago (1989) and VIII of Sculpture in Small format, Budapest, Hungary (1990). It has obtained, among others, the following distinctions: Vicson prize of XXXV the Hall Arturo Michelena (1977), Prize University of Carabobo of XXXIX the Arturo Hall Michelena (1981). It is represented in the MACCSI, the GAN, the Picón Museum Rooms in Mérida, the Museum of Art of Maracay and the Policronopulos Museum of the Skironio, Greece. |
