Ordaz Born in Caracas in 1912. Studied painting at the Academia de Bellas Artes, in Caracas. In 1938 he was one of the Escuela de Artes Plásticas de Barquisimeto co-founder where he attended as teacher until 1941.In 1953 he entered the Psychiatric Caracas Hospital, staying recluse for 23 years. Died in Caracas in 1976. His landscape paintings up to 1945 are located inside the Caracas school style. In his last stage, he moved from naturalism and started working a very subjective stream using pure colors that give his work a fantastic and dramatic nature observing. Water falls, choppy seas and endangered vessels.
