But there is not a real ecological intention in my work. To me each branch, each chip, tells a story. A story made of traces of the past: use, abuse, wind, rain, sun and heat. That's why I don't "beautify" wood. To me the beauty of those elements lies in the story they tell us. I have tried to integrate into my work the principles John Cage applied to his music. In his works each note was part of a composition but still individual and free. That’s why my works are modular. They "are" both   individuals and part of a whole.
